Thought to date to around the very late 1800s to early 1900s, this beautiful Chinese antique preserve pot, made in the Yunnan style, would likely have been used to store water or vinegar.
This pot would have been decorated by hand and features a wonderful repeating etched motif and two-tone neutral colour-way. This particular piece showcases the hand-made nature with beautiful drip patterns on either side of the pot.
Please note that imperfections will be an inherent part of this antique piece. Due to the age of the pot, this piece should not directly be filled with water. To fill with fresh blooms, first insert a flexible vase liner or smaller, watertight vessel before introducing liquids.
