Sweet antique Staffordshire creamer featuring a darling little lurcher or greyhound handle. The happy hound peers into the jug as if hoping for a mouthful of cream.
This wonderful and unusual piece features some discolouration and slight yellowing in places, as well as small areas where the glaze has rubbed away, in particular the pooch’s left ear. Unsurprising really - clearly a very good boy who has received many a rub behind the ear.
